The Upper Room Bunk Barn is accessed through a barn, past the tow toilets and showers. Up a wooden staircase you come to the 19m x 5m wide bunk room, which retains many of the old “A-frame” beams.
At one end are 2 sets of bunk beds, four single beds and a double. Each has a small bedside cabinet and there are two chests of drawers.
Each bed is made up with duvet and pillows. Towels are also provided.
The room is divided by the wood-burning stove and dining table with eight chairs. Next to the table is a small area for tea and coffee making, with a cupboard to store picnic food. There is a little fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and a small sink.
Please note that although the Bunkhouse is available all winter it is only heated by a small wood burning stove so does not get warm, just less chilly!
At the far end are three settees and a large screen with DVD.
The 2 toilets and showers are in the room below.
The bunk barn is only suitable for groups who know each other as it is one big space with no individual bedrooms.
The windows look into our barn where the animals spend the night! The back door opens onto the paddock with the Wigwams and playground.
