The Campsite Club House and Bar is a superb meeting point with 2 large TV screens to watch and enjoy the days action from the Isle of Man TT 2019 racing around the 37.75 miles TT Course whilst enjoying the company of guests from all over the World. Catering is available on site providing breakfasts and evening meals.
Laxey (Manx: Laksaa) village is located on the east coast of the Isle of Man and is within easy walking distance of the campsite. You can choose from 4 local pubs, 4 cafes, takeaway Chinese and an Italian Restaurant.
There is a Co-op, Pharmacy, Post Office and Petrol Station also situated in the village. Laxey Beech is also within walking distance and a walk along Laxey Promenade and Laxey’s small harbour is a must on a summers evening.
The Mountain Railway is also accessible via Laxey Station and we would recommend a trip up to the Bungalow via the Mountain Railway on Race Days.
If you are planning on an evening out or wish to leave your Bike onsite, buses into Douglas and Ramsey operate regularly and coincide with the scheduled race day(s) events.
The Great Laxey Wheel is a focal point of the Village and remains the largest working waterwheel in the world standing 72 feet 6 inches (22.10 m) in diameter and 6 feet (1.83 m) wide, revolving at about 3 rpm.
The cost per adult per night is £12.00, with children aged up to 16 at £6.00 per night and parking is free to all campers
